Excellent store, but the prices are very high!!! Due to very heavy traffic and no traffic lights, entering and exiting the shopping center is a nightmare!!!! To go left out of the southern end of the shopping center, you first have to fight traffic to go right on rt. 441, get in left turn lane and then make a u-turn to go south. Exiting out of the north end of the SC requires you to first go right past Loews then make a U-turn go back to the traffic light at rt. 441. This is the worst situation to get in and out of a shopping center that has a Publix in the USA. Very poor planning!!!! This situation needs to be corrected!!!
This is one of the bigger Publix stores in the area so they always have a good selection. Organic, ethnic, party supplies, deli and prepared foods, large produce department and a large variety of fresh flowers plus Hallmark cards, magazines and books make this a one stop shopping experience for those with limited time. Can't say enough about the wonderful Publix staff - they are always friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the store is often crowded and the parking lot can be a zoo, so drive carefully!
The Loch Leven Publix lives up to the delightful standard of it's brand's motto: where shopping is a pleasure. From the free cookies for kids at the bakery, the helpful workers who will walk around the store with you to help you find an item, the pharmacy that will get your rx filled while you shop, or the friendly cashiers, this Publix is the best place for shopping in the Mt. Dora area.
Publix Deli is the best that I have found they need to hire a little more help but the food is great
